Pros: BEST and highest quality glove rawlings ever made. I've had a few rawlings gloves throughout ever since my dad bought mine 30 years ago. My son plays college baseball and also agrees this is the best I ever bought him. You pay for the best and this by far is the best. Thanks Rawlings!! My grandson will use Rawlings also.

Pros: Just got this glove, and the quality is amazing! I can tell this thing is going to last me forever, it's a bit stiff, but the leather is ver beautiful. Overall the glove looks great, and I can't wait until it is broken in and ready for play!
Cons: Not really a con, but the glove doesn't smell like your average ballglove, smells more like a purse or a pair of leather shoes made from fine leather.

Pros: Quite simply, the incomparable quality of the fine Italian leather and superlative workmanship employed in the Rawlings PRM1200's manufacture is second to none. By examining the exceptional attention to detail of this glove, it is readily apparent that the PRM1200 was truly designed and manufactured to be real player's glove in every respect, and, with occasional conditioning, could be readily passed on and contentedly used as a proverbial heirloom by anyone who has ever longed for an unrivaled glove. Right from the onset, the PRM1200 fits and feels great, presumably due to the model's integrated Dual Core Technology with its strategically placed break points, and, over time, becomes even more comfortable with further use. As the name Primo implies, perhaps this glove is not for everyone, but for those who have the means, the discernable differences between this glove and its counterparts are truly significant.
Cons: None thus far.
Rawlings Boy
Pros: This is the best infield/pitcher glove on the market. Easy to break in but does not get to flimsy. Retains shape no matter what you do with it. It is definitely the best Rawlings glove there is. You definitely get your money's worth.
Cons: It's a little heavy. Although it's a little pricey you get your money's worth. Every guy on your team will want to use it.

Team Rawlings 24
Pros: Far the best glove ever. I play for team Rawlings travel team and I got this at a turnement in Florida. Had it for a day and already starting to break in. Leather is perfect. Craftmanship is the best. I wouldn't suggest any glove. Little bit heavy when first purchased but once broken in not at all. Over all best in the world
Cons: Non. It's the perfect glove
Coach Juan
Pros: You pay for what you get- the best glove on the market. After about a year of researching different leathers, I decided to go with the Italian Calf Leather featured in the Primo. Italian leather is nearly unmatched in durability, quality, and style. You should also notice that it is layered twice with this great leather. The 12' is great for utility but especially built for pitchers for concealing the ball as well as flashing some impressive leather in front of the batters face before they roll over on your off speed.
Cons: No cons. Before you purchase this glove you should know that the leather is built so that you invest some time into making it unique to your hand for decades of use.
lefty
Pros: This glove was pretty to easy to break in. I've been long tossing for about a week and the glove just keeps improving as far as the softness of the leather. Also, I looked at other comments saying that this glove was "heavy". Honestly, it's not. I transferred from a Rawlings Gold Glove 12'' and the Primo is much, much lighter.
Cons: Really none.

Pros: Breaks in super well. Last a long time and breaks perfectly with your hand!
Cons: Slightly heavy and everyone will ask you if it’s real or fake.

Hi Could this glove be used for softball? cheers. Midget
Despite the fact that Rawlings has made a bona fide effort to promote its new, patented Dual Core Technology, which it merely defines as incorporated position specific break points in the glove pattern so one can outperform the demands of the position one is playing, I am not really certain of the actual benefits that I will reap from having a glove with Dual Core Technology. Please advise me accordingly. N747JS

About the Brand
Rawlings is a major manufacturer of competitive team sports equipment and apparel for baseball, basketball, and football, as well as licensed MLB, NFL, and NCAA retail products. Rawlings is a major supplier to professional, collegiate, interscholastic, and amateur organizations worldwide, including the Official Baseball Supplier to Major League Baseball.
The first real innovation in glove making occurred in 1912 when Rawlings Sporting Goods Company introduced the "Sure Catch" glove, which was "endorsed by leading players all over the country." The Sure Catch was a one-piece glove with sewn-in finger channels and looked better suited for a duck's foot than a man's hand. Catchers' mitts used at the time were large and bulky with a single leather thong passing for a web.
In 1920, Bill Doak, a journeyman pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, approached Rawlings with an idea for improving the baseball glove from a mere protective device to a genuine aid in fielding. The "Bill Doak" model was so revolutionary that it stayed in Rawlings' line until 1953. Its key feature was a multi-thong web laced into the first finger and thumb, which created for the first time in baseball's young life, a natural pocket.
In 1925, Rawlings unveiled a three-fingered fielder's glove, and ten years later improved the Bill Doak model with a two-piece leather web. At the same time, the "T" web became a rage for first basemen's mitts. The pocket underwent a pronounced change in 1941 when the Trapper Mitt, also known as the Claw, appeared. The "Deep Well" pocket was so unique that Rawlings quickly patented it. The design was improved in 1950 by adding a leather piece across the top. Another significant creation occurred in 1948 with the three-fingered Playmaker. A five-fingered fielder's model, with all fingers laced together, provided greater pocket control.
The six-fingered Trap-Eze evolved in the 1960's. In more recent years, Rawlings produced the Fastback design, which gives a glove a snugger fit, greater extension, and overall control. The Holdster is a slot through which a finger can be extended for additional protection from impacts on the pocket. Then, there is the Edge-U-Cated Heel with its extended U-shaped lacing and the Pro H Web and much-copied Basket Web.
Some of Rawlings's more recent glove innovations also include the unique Spin-Stopper design which reduces ball spin when the ball hits the glove, and the Cantilever glove design feature that provides a cushioned area between the hand and the glove's palm area. In all, Rawlings has produced and patented more functionally innovative glove features and designs than that of any other glove manufacturer. The result is that the modern baseball glove is much larger, more comfortable, better padded, and made to last far longer than its ancestors. It is not uncommon to see today's Major League players wearing the same Rawlings glove they wore during their college playing days. In fact, Rawlings is the #1 glove in the major leagues. Rawlings maintains about 65 models of baseball and softball mitts and gloves in its line. The prototypes of virtually all of them have been field-tested by professionals before entering a sporting goods dealer's inventory.
