Nokona X2 Elite Red/White/Blue Limited Edition Series: X2-200 RWB Youth
Average Customer Review
I just ordered this glove for my 10yr old son through ball glove warehouse. I was skeptical about paying so much for a youth glove, but I wanted to take the next step and go for a top level model. As a background, I was a middle infielder at the college level so I am very particular regarding gloves. I love the feel of this leather and the size is perfect for a 9-14 yr old in my opinion. I was able to get my fingers in there and love the feel/fit. The pocket/web design is great to make it not too small or not too big for it. We are still breaking this glove in, but have already seen that the leather breaks in easily. If the $ isn't a deal killer, buy this for your son and you will not be dissappointed. With all of that said, do not buy this glove as a starter glove for your son. Between 6-8, you can find a nice quality glove for under $100 that will suit your son just fine until you know he wants to take it to the next level.
I will have a better conclusion in a week or so once it's fully broken in. But as of right now, I can't think of one con.
Arrives in a good shape for break in it was about 90% broken in. We worked on it for about 5 days and it was good to go. My son is 9 year's old and the glove is a good size on his hand with a little room to grow.
Expensive. We can pass this glove down to his younger brother when he grows out of it so we could live with the cost.
My son is 10 and plays at ELL as a SS and pitcher. Break in was about 2 weeks before he used in practice or a game. He didn't feel any difference in weight when compared to his previous glove, Mizuno MVP. His hand are larger than the average 10 year old so it was much easier for him to close but might take extra effort for someone with smaller hands because it is a bit stiffer than an off the shelf glove. He used this glove for 3 months before it was stolen at the field.
None. We are purchasing another.

HI my 17 year old is looking at this glove for pitching, would it be suitable for him? He wears a medium batting glove.
Unfortunately the Nokona X2 Elite Red/White/Blue Limited Edition Series (X2-200) RWB Youth is a youth glove and is most likely not going to fit a 17 year old.
Can you get the name on the glove as you can from Nokona?
Unfortunately, we do not offer customization for the gloves. We would be unable to put a name on the 2016 Nokona X2 Elite Red/White/Blue Limited Edition Series: X2-200 RWB Youth.
How does the X2-200 compare to the Alpha Select? Is it more structured?
The 2016 Nokona X2 Elite Red/White/Blue Limited Edition Series: X2-200 RWB Youth is similar to the Alpha Select. It is made out of Kangaroo Leather, which is a bit tougher than most so it can hold it's shape better than the Alpha Select.
