Nokona Walnut Series: N80W First Base Mitt
Average Customer Review
My parents gave me this glove for Christmas. My Dad put 2 applications of Nokona condition cream on it 2 weeks before Christmas. It took only 2 weeks to completely break it in. This glove is amazing! I'm 15, and it's the best glove I've ever owned. Joey Chandler, Ft Worth, TX
Got this to replace my trusty Cooper. It's a well-made, heavily-built, and good looking mitt. Substantial wrist strap keeps the glove in place. Superior in every way to the Nokona Buckaroo (which I returned for this model). Thanks to JustBallGloves for make the swap easy.
Very minor. I'd prefer a little padding on the wrist strap and inner-back of the glove. Break-in goes well if you are willing to sit on it all day at work for a week or so — which, sadly, I am.

Very nice, but I want a Nokona Buckaroo Series SBM100K 14 inch. Where can I order this glove?
Unfortunately the Nokona Buckaroo Series: SBM100K Softball First Base Mitt is a discontinued mitt. It would be tough to find this glove at a retailer. The Nokona Walnut Series: N80W First Base Mitt would be the most comparable model currently on the market.
My daughter is 14 yrs old and 5 ft tall. What's your suggestion for a first base mitt for her? I prefer solid webbing.
For your 14 year old daughter I would recommend the Nokona Walnut Series (N80W) First Base Mitt if you prefer solid webbing.
My son is 15 years old and 6' tall and still growing. What size glove would he need?
Based on his age and height, we would suggest a 12.5 inch model. However, since he is still growing, the Nokona Walnut Series: N80W First Base Mitt (13.00") would definitely work for him.
America’s pastime. American madeTM. Since 1934, Nokona has been producing ball gloves for America’s pastime right here in the United States. They are made by Americans who carefully cut, stamp, stitch, lace, and embroider each glove by hand. Each Nokona has its own unique identity and feel, based on the careful selection of leather per.... read more
