Good glove Eddie baseball player

Pros: This is a decent glove can't ask for much for what the price is. It was easy to break in not much work to get it game ready especially if you do 2 in the pinky. The glove itself looks sweet as you can tell by the images that just all gloves provides you with. Some cool features is the web pretty unique don't really see the pattern and on the pinky and thumb stall it has some sweet material that's like wilsons superskin it also has Nike air bag which does an amazing job taking the sting away when you catch the ball this is good for the player that doesn't want to get a bruised palm or doesn't want to feel the sting I personally want to feel the ball in the glove and as you can see you'll see why it maybe a con for some players but over all a decent glove for what it's worth

Cons: Laces feel like plastic you may want to relace the glove with higher quality Laces and if you're a player that wants to feel the ball when it hits the glove some times you won't get that feeling of the ball in your glove and it feels like you dropped the ball or something

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Nike N1 Air Series: BF1356? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

i play short stop, left, and left center in slow pitch softball and i was just wondering if this glove would be a good fit for that position set. also i was wondering what would be the best way to break this glove in if i purchase it. would it be better to stick to the oil and rubberband a ball in it, or just throw with it and play with it. thanks for your time andrew
For those positions in slow pitch softball, I would recommend a glove around 12.5 to 13 inches. I think this glove should work very well for you. This glove won't require a very extensive break-in period and it comes pretty close to game-ready condition. I would recommend taking it out and playing catch with it a handful of times before your first game. When it's not in use you can put a softball in the pocket and wrap it with some rubberbands to help form the pocket.

I play high school baseball. I play third basese and the outfield occasionally. Would this glove be good for infielders also? bigpapi
I think this glove would work for you. If you play 3rd base as well as outfield, a 12.5 inch glove would be a good option.
Brett
I play softball and I was wondering would this glove be okay for 2nd base? I was looking at the 11.25 and 11.50 size models of the glove but they looked really small for softball. I think this glove is good size for 2nd base right? CC
11.00-11.50 is what they use for the infield in baseball. If you are using this glove for softball, I think that it would work. It still would probably be a little big for the infield.
Brett
I have larger hands and find it challenging to find a comfortable glove that works. Do you think this glove will work or do you have another suggestions for me? Thanks! Denny
Yes, I think that this glove would work. This glove has big hand and finger stalls. If this glove does not work out, you have 100 days to return the glove for an exchange or refund.
Brett
i play college baseball and i play center field, will this glove give me comfortably in the outfield? and is it light? nickknights
A 12.5 or 12.75 inch glove is most common amongst High School, College and Professional outfielders. This glove fits very comfortably and should work well in the outfield. It will be average in weight compared to other gloves of the same size and style.
Mark
My 14 year old daughter likes this glove. Good for fastpitch softball? She splits play between pitching, shortstop and outfield. Or should she look for a girl's glove? fastpitch dad
This glove can be used for baseball or softball. It should work just fine for her, but keep in mind, it's not a traditional female softball glove so it may fit a little bigger.
JH
Does this glove last as long as the Rawlings Pro Preffered or any pro model? ari
The Pro Preferreds are some of the highest quality, most durable gloves on the market. The BF1356 will probably be a few notches below the Pro Preferred Series in terms of durability.
Sean
i play baseball and i am 13 i play in the infiled and ocasonally out field would this glove be a good pick conrad
Most 12.50 inch glove are recommended for the outfield. Most high school outfielders use 12.00-12.50 inch gloves. Most infielders in high school use an 11.00-11.50 inch gloves. I would recommend an 11.00-11.50.
Brett
Are there any gloves that can compare to this? I am looking for a good outfielders glove for college and one that has some sting protection. I currently have an older glove where the palm wore out and I am using one of those palm pads you buy at Big 5. I have read about and seen the air pocket in person, I just fear the pocket not lasting and was curious of the quality. Is there any other gloves that have a similar features or good palm pad? ErikM
That is a very good opiton for a glove in that price range. Similar gloves would include the PLSOF126 and the GWW1252.
Mark
I would like to know if this Glove works ok for my 7 year old son, i dont like those youth gloves, my son plays second and third base, it my be ok if he uses batting glove or not for the glove? . Also the leather its good or feels like plastic Thanks a lot. Jerry
For a 7 year old, this glove would be way too big. A 12.5 inch glove like this is more commonly used by adults playing in the outfield at the High School, Collegiate, and Professional level. A 7 year old is better suited using a glove around 10.5 or 11 inches. The Nike BF1356 is a good glove made from quality steerhide leather.

hi i am 5 ´7 and have male small to medium size hands, is this glove too big for my hands? i play slow pitch second base, i am also considering the rawlings revo 350 and 550 series 12,5 inch, but dont know if those gloves are female gloves mon
It wouldn't be too big for your hands. However, it is not a softball glove. There are several different Revo models. The product features will indicate if it is a FastPitch model or Softball Model.

Is the Nike N1 Air a youth glove buying one for a small 10 year old? Lisaelld
This is an adult size glove. I would suggest a 11.50 inch glove.
Kara
Does this brand of glove run larger or smaller in size tik
These gloves run slightly larger in size. These gloves give the player more room in the glove and it will not be too tight on the hand.
KG
I play 1st and outfield on occasion in slowpitch softball, do you think this glove would work ok as an all purpose for the specified spots? curiousbuyer
Yes, this glove can be used for 1st and outfield
John
It's looks like a dope glove... Would it be good for a high-school pitcher? Noah G!
Yes, this would work for a high school pitcher.
Tom
Is this good for a freshman outfielder or should I go with a 12.75"? khjgg
The Nike N1 Air Series: BF1356 is a perfect fit for an outfielder.
Frank
I play third base at the High School level. Would this be a good glove for me? eb98
The Nike N1 Air Series: BF1356 is a 12.50" pattern and would be a good option for a High School outfielder. Our recommended size for a third baseman would be an 11.75" pattern.
Mac
I'm 14 and play left and center in baseball, on a scale of 1-10, ten being top of the line and 1 being bottom, what would do you think would be the number on this glove. johnathan
I would say that the Nike N1 Air Series: BF1356 would get a grade of 8. It is easy to break in and uses high quality steer hide leather for long lasting durability.
Chad M.
Between this and the Rawlings Bull Series: B125H which would be the best in quality for a 14 year old center-fielder? Which is the better choice? wally
Both of these gloves are going to be fairly similar in leather quality and performance, and both have about the same amount of padding built into the glove. The biggest difference between the two is that the Nike N1 has Nike's DryFit Technology built in to keep your hand dryer on hot days when you are sweating. However, we only offer the Nike N1 BF1356 in a left handed thrower model, while the Rawlings Bull Series B125H is only offered in a right handed thrower model. In short, both gloves will be a great choice, it just depends on whether you are a righty or a lefty.
Kyle J.
I am 13 and play first base. Would this be a good glove for me? Mike
The Nike N1 Air Series (BF1356) is a great glove for outfielders. If you play first base the most, you might look into getting a First Basemen's Mitt.
Chinyere
I play all positions. Would this glove be good for me? ball pro
At 12.50", the Nike N1 Air Series (BF1356) is a great glove for outfielders. Typically, we see utility players using a 12.00" glove if they are playing both infield and outfield.
Allison
what is the difference between this glove and the Louisville slugger 125 series outfield glove noah
The differences between the Nike N1 Air Series (BF1356) and the Louisville Slugger 125 series is really going to come down to cosmetics and personal preference. Both feature steerhide leather, 12.50" size, open back, and an H-Webbing.
