Description

Think you know top of the line gloves? Think again. Mizuno is proud to introduce THE HIGHEST QUALITY ball gloves to ever hit the market, the Pro Limited Edition Series. Don't let the price of these gloves scare you, because they're worth every penny. For the Pro Limited Edition Series, Mizuno uses Deguchi Kip Leather that is soft, supple, strong, and ready to impress. This leather is characterized by having tighter fibers and has been through a proprietary tanning process that perfectly conditions the leather so that it is stronger than any Mizuno ever created. When you slip this glove on to your hand, you'll immediately notice a sensation of softness and comfort that is provided by the Shika Palm Liner - an elite deerskin palm liner that provides the ultimate feel. Mizuno also introduces a new technology called Speed Drive with the release of the Pro Limited Edition Series. Speed Drive Technology perfectly balances each glove based on where it will be used in the field to provide players the fastest reaction time and best response possible. This is achieved through lighter thumb, pinky, and heel construction, while reinforcing the index, middle, and ring fingers. It is truly genius craftsmanship. Each glove is impressed with a Limited Edition stamp that is adorned with the name of the master craftsman that designed your glove. Mizuno stands behind this glove as one of the greatest to ever hit the field, and that's why they are offering an off-season conditioning program. Mizuno is offering a one-time repair and recondition of your Pro Limited Edition glove to return it to its original glory! It just doesn't get any better than this. Mizuno: Never Settle. Son was out of baseball for a year and grew from 4'10" to 5'8". Starts school ball in a month and is a catcher. What is the most broken in or easiest to break in catcher's mitt? Carl
Price is the best indicator of leather quality. The lower the price, the softer the leather will be, thus making it easier to break-in.
Tyler
What does the number after the model indicate? Like 32.50 or 34.00? Jay
The number you are referring to is the circumference of the glove. The Mizuno Pro Limited Edition Series: GMP200 Catcher's mitt has a 33.50" circumference.
Mac
Is this glove as good or better than the All-Star Pro Elite Series catchers mitt? Tyler
The Mizuno Pro Limited Edition Series: GMP200 Catcher's Mitt is made of extremely durable and soft Deguchi Kip Leather that is a higher quality leather than the All Star Pro Elite Series: CM3000SBT Catcher's Mitt. It also comes with a one-time free conditioning by Mizuno.

We actually did carry the black version of the Mizuno Pro Limited Edition Series (GMP200) is was the GMP200BK. We sold out of that model and they discontinued its production so we will not be getting any more in. They were essentially the same but with different color leather.

What is the difference between the GMP20 and the GMP200? Any information you can provide would be a huge help. Thank you very much. BehindTheMask
The Mizuno Pro Limited Edition Series: GMP200 Catcher's Mitt comes in a 33.5" pattern where as the Mizuno Pro Series: GMP20 Catcher's Mitt is a 34". The Mizuno Pro Limited Edition Series: GMP200 Catcher's Mitt has a palm liner that provides an ultra soft feel that the Mizuno Pro Series: GMP20 Catcher's Mitt does not feature. Other than these differences and the cosmetic contrasts, they are the same.
Angelique
Is this glove light or is it a heavy glove? scott
Unfortunately, I do not have the ability to get the exact weight of this glove. However, the weight featured in this Mizuno Pro Limited Edition Series (GMP200 Catcher's Mitt) would not hinder a high school/adult aged player's ability to perform well behind the plate.
