Cons: sometimes you the ball will slip out on the catch.

Pros: very comfortable easy to break in but holds it's shape great price for this quality nicecolor
Cons: Just me but I have a big hand and i wear my glove on my whole hand and i have long fingers so my fingers barly fit in the glove.
sb
Pros: none
Cons: Finally broke it in enough to make it usable, first practice the lacing in the net ripped wide open. I would avoid this glove, trapeze is not a smart netting for a first base glove. Very upset as I only caught about 30 balls before it broke,
Questions and Answers
Have a question about the Mizuno MVP Series: GXF57 First Base Mitt? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.
Love the looks of the glove. My question is that I'm thinking of playing in a seniors 55+ slow pitch league and wonder if this glove would fit the bill at 1st base. I also looked at the GXF57 model and the Miken MSBFT. I have relatively small hands and hope that this should not present any problems with any of these gloves. I do like the webbing in the GXF57 the best. What do you think? Thanks. Bob65
Ok, so I am looking for a firstbase mitt. I have the Louisville Slugger Omaha Pro series and, it broke in all floppy and its hard to scoop the ball because my glove is so floppy and bendy. I was wondering about the palm/pocket on this glove. Is it more like an Easton pro glove? Or like the Louisville Slugger Omaha Pro series? Any help is accepted. thanks! tsunamiwarhead17

How well this glove hold up? I play mens softball at least 2-3 nights a weeks. Would like go to know if the corners will stay firm, and not become floppy? Matt
My son is 10 years old and plays a lot of travelling baseball. He is left handed and plays first base. I have ordered this glove without doing any research. Is this glove okay for my 10 year old son? I see it may be too big for him, or is it? He is 85 pounds and 5' tall. Casey
I have the Franchise 1st base mitt but I have had problems with the glove becoming to floppy and dropping the balls when scooping them. Do u think these gloves would do the same thing over time? baseballerrday
