Pros: I'm a 15 year old left hand catcher play 18U in Arizona. My notes: Requires minimal breakin time. Deep pocket secures catches. Flexible hinge action. Comfortable fit. Confidence inspiring. Looks Good.
Cons: None to report at this time.

Pros: My daughter is 12 years old and her Mizuno Prospect 101 32.5" Cathers Mitt has gotten to small for her hand. I was afraid the Mizuno GXS57 would be too big of a glove for her. But it is the perfect size. Love the leather, the pocket is deep, perfect for the 12" ball, and easy to break in. Used it is a tournament the next day after receiving it, and she only dropped one ball. We made a great Choice.
Cons: No Cons

Pros: very nice glove but has a flaw
Cons: My daughter play varsity and travel and loves the glove, but the stitching holding the web broke in two spots after only two months of practice and 4 games. I was able to re-stitch the glove myself but if you can't do that the warranty only last 100 days and you may want to look at something else

Pros: In 12U my daughter had a GXS92 that she loved, but her pitchers were starting to throw hard enough that she wanted something with more padding for 14U. She tried the Worth Liberty Advanced and a Mizuno GXS31 also. They were much stiffer mitts (and the Worth had a sheepskin lining at the wrist which she dislikes because it gets nasty.) She preferred the feel of the GXS57 which appears to have all the aspects of her good old GXS92 plus more padding.
Cons: None so far, but someday she may find that her pitchers outpace the GXS57 padding as well and then we'll have to come back to JustBallGloves again!

Cons: none

Pros: This is my daughter's second GSX57. The first one was stolen, along with her catcher's mask. Her team gave her new gear and we decided to try another glove. We got her a Louisville Slugger Xeno catchers glove to match her pads. She did not like it right away, as it was smaller than her stolen Mizuno, and not padded enough. She plays for a very competative 12U team, and was begging me to replace her old glove. She feels that much more confident with it. Break in time is short, and the quality of the last glove and this new one are both excellent. I hope this one sticks around longer than a few months, as these are getting harder to find.
Cons: They seem to walk away on their own....

My 13 yr old is using an old Easton SFP20 catchers mitt. I think it is a 34". She has been catching for many years on travel teams. We are thinking about the GXS57 and wondering if it will fit similar to the Easton size wise. It sounds from what I have been reading that a 34" may be a little big for a girl her age.
