Pros: My favorite glove ever... it is the perfect middle infield glove, for small hands. You can really feel the ball well, good laces, and nice stiff fingers, just what i like.

Cons: Nothing

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Mizuno Global Elite Series: GGE60? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

What is the differences between the Mizuno global elite and mizuno global elite VOP 11.50in. models? Which do you recomend? Austin
The Global Elite VOP Series is made with a higher quality leather that will be more durable, a little stiffer, and a little more difficult to break-in. If you want a more durable glove, I recommend the VOP. If you want a glove with a slightly quicker break-in, I recommend the regular Global Elite Series.
Tyler
Is this glove come stiff or is it more game ready. DatDudeBP4
The Mizuno Global Elite Series: GGE60 Will be more stiff, and will require a break in period.
Ryan
Could the quality of the leather compete with a A2000 or heart of the hide? And over time will it become floppy or will it keep its shape? JJJUMPMAN23
The Mizuno Global Elite Series has similar leather quality and durability compared to the A2000 Series and Heart of the Hide Series. Over a long enough time, all gloves become floppy, but the Global Elite Series features great durability and should hold its shape well for several seasons.
Tyler
I have been looking to buy my son a new glove. He is still young, 8 yrs, but plays year round and plays travel ball. We tried on the Mizuno Future series and the glove seemed to big for him. He tried the Global Elite and it fits better, but it is listed as an adult glove. Is this glove similar to the Wilson Showcase Series in that it is made for a smaller hand? Steve
No, the Mizuno Global Elite Series: GGE60 is an Adult model 11.50" glove. It is designed for infield use. This glove will have a lighter feel to it because of the E-Lite leather. This would be an elite glove for the 8 year old travel player.
Brandon
Does this glove have a small pocket? baseballgamer
Since the Mizuno Global Elite Series: GGE60 is an infield model, it is not going to have a deep pocket - making it easier for infielders to transfer the ball from the glove to their hand.
Marcus
Are the finger stalls relatively large? play til deth
I wouldn't call the finger stalls on the Mizuno Global Elite Series: GGE60 large, but they are not small either. They will be average in size compared to most adult sized gloves on the market.
Tyler
I'm 14, and I'm afraid the 11.50" is too small. What are your thoughts? Carter
At your age, the 11.50" pattern size of the Mizuno Global Elite Series: GGE60 is the recommended size for a middle infielder. Middle infielders often use 11.50" models throughout their career. This Global Elite is an Adult model, so the fit on your hand should be just fine.
Mac
I play as a third baseman and use a Rawlings Heart of the Hide 11.75, this glove is much smaller? Parro38
Yes, the Mizuno Global Elite is a 11.5" which will be slightly smaller than your 11.75" Rawlings Heart of the Hide.
John
Is the quality of this leather comparable to the Pro Stock leather featured in the Wilson A2000? Baseballfreak
The Mizuno Global Elite Series: GGE60 and the Wilson A2000 will be comparable. The Wilson A200 will have slightly stiffer leather.
Tori
How heavy is it? I'm looking to buy it and I have a Primo, but it is really heavy in my opinion. Baseballplayer24
The Mizuno Global Elite Series (GGE60) does not come with an advertised weight. The weight will vary slightly between each individual glove, due to the nature of leather, but the Global Elite should be comparable in weight to the Primo. We carry a 100 day guarantee on all our gloves, so if you feel it is too heavy, you can send it back for a full refund or exchange.

Is this glove better than the All Star System Seven I web glove? njf
Both the Mizuno Global Elite Series (GGE60) and the All Star System Seven Series (FGS7-IF) are high performance gloves from their respective manufacturer's. Tessa
Will this glove stay stiff after long periods of use? churro party
The Mizuno Global Elite Series (GGE60) uses Roll Welting to help maintain its shape and stiffness for a long period.
Jason
How does this glove compare to the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series? The Captain
The Mizuno Global Elite Series (GGE60) has a lighter feel and is constructed from a higher quality leather than the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series. It should offer a better shot at lasting durability with the leather difference.
Mac
Is this glove better than the Rawlings GG Elite Series for a shortstop? The Captain
Both gloves would be very good for a middle infielder. The Mizuno Global Elite Series (GGE60) and its leather material would be of a higher quality compared to the GG EIite Series.
Brandon
How does this glove compare to the Rawlings Revo 950 series? Would this be a good choice for high school? Would you recommend this glove over the Rawlings Revo 950, Rawlings Heart of the Hide Dual Core, and Mizuno Classic Pro Soft? Lil f
The Mizuno Global Elite Series (GGE60) and the Rawlings Heart Of The Hide Dual Core Series (PRO202DCB) would be the two higher quality gloves out of the three but all four options are definitely suitable for high school level play. The Global Elite and the Heart of the Hide would just be higher quality leather that would retain the shape of the pocket longer and hold up better to frequent use.
Patrick
I am 15 and I am looking for a middle infield and third base glove. Is this a good fit? How will it compare to the Rawlings Heart of the Hide 11.50 inch model? Nick
The 11.5 inch pattern of the Mizuno Global Elite Series (GGE60) is perfect for a middle infielder and could work for a 3rd baseman. Some players at 3rd would prefer a slightly longer glove like an 11.75 inch but both could work well. The GGE60 is very similar in quality to the Heart of the Hide Series gloves.
Patrick
Are you out of this glove or did you stop selling it? Nick
The Mizuno Global Elite Series (GGE60) has been discontinued by Mizuno and we no longer have any available.
Jason
I'm looking for a middle fielder glove for fastpitch, can you tell me what are the differences between the Mizuno Global Elite GGE60FP and the Mizuno Global Elite GGE60 baseball gloves? Are the pockets the same size? Nes
The Mizuno Global Elite Series (GGE60) is a baseball glove, while the Mizuno Global Elite Fastpitch Series (GGE60FP) is a fastpitch softball glove. The GGE60FP has narrower finger-stalls as well as added palm padding.
