What is the difference in throwback leather and java leather? bobby
The java leather used in the Mizuno Franchise Series (GFN1200B1) simply indicates the color of the leather. The throwback leather gives the glove the look of older glove models.

Is this glove a 12 inch glove? If so, is it good for high school outfield play? J3
This Mizuno Franchise Baseball Series (GFN1200B1) will have a 12.00" length and closed webbing that will make it more of a pitcher model of glove than an outfielder option of glove. A solid outfield option from Mizuno will be the Mizuno MVP Prime Series (GMVP1275P1) that is available in the 12.75" length.
