Slugger

Pros: Glove seems a little bit bigger than 11.5, which is good because it can be used as an outfielders mitt and an infielders mitt. Break in took me 1-2 weeks with playing catch, conditioning it, and wrapping it up.

Cons: Hard to go two fingers in the pinkey because the pinkey lacing loosens up. The glove does not retain its shape for a long time, probably because of its really soft leather. Lacing loosens all the time.

Nice Glove Preacher parent

Pros: Easy break-in, high quality, well padded. Deep pocket could be a Pro or a Con depending upon personal preference. My 11 year old seems to be able to get it out of the glove efficiently. Plays 2nd, 3rd, and left LF with it and loves this glove. Highly recommend for serious ball players.

Cons: Can't say Mizuno is the only glove we have had this issue with, but the thumb harness tend to come untied quite often. Other than that nothing worth mentioning.

Pros: This is an awesome glove. I originally had bought it for my 9 year old who plays 10u. I was helping him break it in and fell in love with it myself. It was a little big on him so I kept it for my self and bought him a 11.25 model. If your thinking about it just get it and you will not regret it!

Cons: absolutely NONE!!!

Comparing the 65S and 67S for my son. They look like the same glove, just a different web. He pitches and the 65S has a more open web where the 67S has a closed web. Are they the same glove, just a different web? Thank you. Shaun
Yes, these are both the same glove. The only difference is the webbing of both gloves.
Brett
I'm looking for a Soft, thick padding, High quality glove. Would this be a good choice? This or a BC1150M? joejoe87
I think the Mizuno will have a slight advantage over the BC1150M in terms of padding. It will also be a bit softer as well. Both are high quality gloves though.
JH
Would this glove be good for 12 year old 3rd baseman and shortstop? Mkey
At 11.5 inches, I think this would be a good size glove for you that you can use for several years.
JH
Hi, I Was wondering witch glove would have better padding, this or the Wilson A2000 1786-DB? Jesse
Both will be pretty similar in regards to padding. However, if I were to give one a slight edge over the other, it would be the GCP67S, it may have just a bit more padding.
Brett
Would this glove be a good fit for an elite shortstop to use in the field. clark
Yes, this model would be a great fit for a shortstop
Sean
what is a better glove for 3rd Base, this mizuno or the louisville slugger pro flare APPLE JUICE44
Either would be good as long as you are comfortable with the size.

My daughter plays softball 18U 2nd base. Is the pocket in the GCP67S the same as the GCF1151? Hal
To answer your question. The GCP67S has Modified T pocket which is very popular with Outfielder and corner infielders. The GCF1151 is an I-Web and is typically used by infielders. I personally love the I-web, I was an middle infielder for years and found that the I-web or the single post web is best for your daughter.
Chad
My 13 year old plays primarily 1st base, 3rd base, short and pitcher. The 11.50" seems small to me, but I am having a tough time finding a 12.00" that he likes. What size should we purchase this year that will take him through the next several years? dom
The Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series: GCP67S would work, as we recommend an 11.50-11.75" for a 13 year old infielder. The Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series: GCP53S is the 11.75" model from that series. It's very durable and should last several years.
Katie
Is this a youth or adult model? john
The Mizuno Classic Pro Soft (GCP67S) is a transitional model, it is typically used by players in the 10-13 year old age range.
Sean
I am 14 and am about to go into high school ball. Would this be a good glove choice for me? Lil Freese
The Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series (GCP67S) would be a great glove for that level of play.
Patrick
What size glove is this? kim
The Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series (GCP67S) is an 11.5 inch model.
Ben
My daughter plays 10u AA select baseball, 2nd base and outfield. She is 80 lbs and has smaller hands. Will this glove work? If not what GCP Mizuno would you recommend? Mike
The Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series (GCP67S) has an adult 11.50" pattern and might be a little big for a player her age with small hands. A better option to consider is the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series (GCP41F Youth). It has a slightly smaller pattern and will better fit a player her age.
Jason
My son is 11, 5'2 and 120 lbs. is this the right size glove for him? He typically plays middle infield to outfield, and has been playing for 6 years. Rhickman
Yes, the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series (GCP67S) with it's 11.5" length will be an excellent option for your 11 year old son to use between middle infield and outfield.
Ben
I'm looking for a glove for a high school fastpitch middle infielder/third basemen with relatively small hands. Do you have any suggestions on a baseball or softball glove? Preferably relatively shallow for quick, easy access, but big enough to fit a 12 inch softball. hayden
For those positions, we would recommend going with a fastpitch specific model and something with a bigger pocket than the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series (GCP67S). A 12 inch design like the Mizuno Classic Fastpitch Series (GCF1203) would probably work better for her.
Patrick
I have two daughter. One plays 14U Fastpitch outfielder the other plays 12U Fastpitch 3rd base. Is this glove recommended for either of these positions at their age/level? PG
For a player that is in a 12U league and playing third base, the Mizuno Classic Pro Soft Series: GCP67S is a great glove. I would not recommend this glove to your other daughter that is in a 14U league and playing outfield. For that player, I would recommend a glove that features a 12.00 inch pattern.
