The Marucci Gloves are assembled in China, but the components of these gloves are globally comprised. Many of the components for these gloves (leather, minimal heel padding, lacing etc..) originate from Europe, USA, and Japan.

The higher quality leather usually has a slight advantage in regard to being longer lasting. (2) I would recommend against using this mitt for fastpitch softball as it has an 11.25" length. That length typically is not advantageous for softballs as the balls are so large.
