Drew

Pros: I am a pitcher and middle infielder, my last glove was an A2000 DP15, and I really liked it but I decided to buy a different glove, this one. This glove is Ideal for pitchers who also play infield. The glove looks amazing especially when it's broken in.

Cons: Runs a little larger than 11.5 but it is so light it feels smaller. Finger inserts are super hard and If you want to flare the pinky I would suggest buying another glove.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Marucci Pro Founders' Series: M13FG1150T? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

There is a feature that says 'minimal heel padding for better feel and break-in'. What does that mean and what is the benefit to my game? Blake
Most gloves have a traditionally thick material in the heel area connected to the thumb. This adds unnecessary weight and takes a long time to form how the player wants. Marucci minimizes this padding and it helps the feel and break-in process.
Katie
I am an infielder, but I am also a pitcher. What glove length would be best for me? drew
Because you play both infield and pitch, the best glove for you would be 11.5" T-Web model. The 11.25" I-Web is ideal for middle infield. The 11.5" T-Web will hide the ball better as a pitcher and is a good infield glove for not just playing second base or shortstop, but also third base.
Katie
Marucci makes some great wood bats. What makes their gloves special? Why should I buy a Marucci over a brand who has been around longer? Bryan
Marucci's development process was based around MLB players and their feedback. They took significant time working with their Player Advisory Board to perfect the features that are the most important. Gloves were worn by MLB players on-field for the entire 2013 season, which was a full year before they were released to the public. They are individually handcrafted, one by one, which gives them a higher quality look and feel and are made of some of premium materials.
Katie
What is the break-in like? What is the leather quality? Big Danny
Marucci uses one of the most quality leather types which is the standard among professional players. It is Japanese kip leather, which is very tight and clean and requires gradual break-in, but holds its form and shape for a long time without getting floppy.
Katie
Where are Marucci gloves manufactured? Tres
The Marucci Founders' Series: M13FG1150T gloves are manufactured in China.
Aubrey
My son is a 10u travel team pitcher and MI and loves his Marucci bats and now that we're looking for a good glove what are your thoughts on a Marucci for a 10u player? MDS
At 10 years old, many players still use Youth models, so the Marucci Founders' Series gloves may fit a bit big on his hand. However, if he's already using adult patterns, the 11.50" or 11.25" model might be a possibility. This glove line is definitely very high quality and would be a glove he could use for many seasons.
Mac
Are these gloves better than the Heart of the Hide, Pro Preferred, Primo and the A2K? Out of all the gloves which is the best in your opinion? nick22
The Kip leather found on the Marucci Founders' Series: M13FG1150T will feel similar to the Kip leather on the Pro Preferred Series. It will actually have more of a stiffness like the Heart of the Hide and A2K have. All four glove series are top of the line and provide incredible durability and feel.
Brandon
I am a freshman in high school and am looking for a glove to last me throughout high school and maybe even a little later. Would this glove be a good pick? Johnson15
The Marucci Founders' Series: M13FG1150T is a top of the line model made from Japanese kip leather. This means that the leather is very tight and clean that requires a gradual break-in, but once it is broken in properly, it holds its form and shape for a long time without getting floppy. With routine maintenance and proper care, this glove could last a long time.
Tessa L.
Is the kip leather found in the Marucci Founder's Series and the Rawlings Pro Preferred Series a very stiff leather or soft leather? Nick
Yes, there is a softness to all Kip Leather compared to Steehide. It has a slight stiffness to it still but it is not too much. The Marucci Founders' Series: M13FG1150T would be a great option to go with!
Brandon
Is this glove too small for a high school player who will use it for pitching and 3rd? And I've heard this glove runs a bit on the larger side. Is that true? Nick
The Marucci Founders' Series: (M13FG1150T) might feel a bit larger than other options to some, but the 11.50" pattern size and Modified T-Web design make a great choice for a third baseman who also pitches. Ultimately it depends on what you are comfortable using, but I believe this glove would be a great choice.
Mac
I'm a freshman that plays shortstop and second base. Should I get the 11.50" or 11.25"? ec13
In the Marucci Founders' Series (M13FG1150T) both sizes are acceptable for those positions. It would really come down to which model you felt most comfortable with. We do have a 100 Day Guarantee on all of our gloves if you wanted to purchase both and try them out to see which best suits you.
Kelby
Would the 11.25" or the 11.50" be better for a 13U pitcher and center fielder? Does this glove stay true to the sizing, or is it a little on the bigger side? Would this glove be able to be used as soon as I get it, or would I have to break it in? brendan
The Marucci Founders' Series: M13FG1150T runs pretty true to size and would be my recommendation for a pitcher/outfielder over the 11.25" pattern size. The 11.50" size would be a compromise and would be a great option for a pitcher, but it's definitely smaller than the 12.50" to 12.75" recommendation for that age of outfielder. The Founders' Series models will not be game ready and will require break-in.
Mac
Is this glove legal to pitch with in high school and college ball? I've heard that white and grey gloves can't be used. Would this fit in that category? Trotter
The Marucci Founders' Series (M13FG1150T) is constructed from a Camel color leather, and would be approved for use by a pitcher. Glove rules like that are contingent on the umpire's discretion, so enforcement can vary. But camel would not be considered Grey or White.
Mac
I heard that this glove ran a little bigger than 11.5". Is that true because an 11.5" glove is the biggest glove I would purchase and I don't want it to be too big. That being said if it truly is bigger than 11.5" should I go for the 11.25" Marucci or a different brand 11.5" glove. Diamond Thief
The Marucci Founders' Series (M13FG1150T) runs pretty true to size, so I would go with an 11.50" glove of this size.
Damon
Does this glove compare to an A2K or a Pro Preferred? Matt
The Marucci Pro Founders' Series (M13FG1150T) will be more stiff compared to Pro Preferred or an A2K. It will be a very great and comparable glove choice!
Brandon
Do you think you would pick this glove over an A2000? Boss
The Marucci Pro Founders' Series (M13FG1150T) would be a very high quality, pro style glove. The A2000 would be also. Either would be a fantastic choice.
Brandon
Would this be a good pitcher and glove for third base? nate nate
Yes, the Marucci Pro Founders' Series: (M13FG1150T) is an ideal model for infield play. Therefore it would work extremely well for pitching, and third base as well.
Merritt
Is Pro Preferred better or Marucci Founders' series? bbsll
The Marucci Pro Founders' Series (M13FG1150T) and the Rawlings Pro Preferred Series (PROS15MTBR) are very similar in terms of quality. They are both very high end and durable models.
Patrick
How do these gloves, this model in particular, compare to the high quality Mizuno pro limited series gloves? jimmy036
The Marucci Pro Founder's Series (M13FG1150T) will be pretty comparable to the Mizuno Pro Limited Series gloves considering that they are both top of the line offerings from both companies. Both are made from high quality kip leather that will require some break-in time. However, you will notice a difference in price between this glove and the Mizuno Pro Limited Series which is running at $499.99.
Ben
Is this glove legal to use on the mound due to it's color? rjrobinson44
The Marucci Pro Founders' Series (M13FG1150T) should be legal for pitchers, but to be safe I would check with your coach or the league board.
Frankie
Am I able to return this glove before I use it? peter
The Marucci Pro Founders' Series: M13FG1150T along with all of our gloves on the site come with a 100 day guarantee. So you can use the glove and if you don't like it or just want to send it back within those 100 days you can do so for a full refund or exchange.
Cooper
Can you use this glove for the outfield? nick
The Marucci Pro Founders' Series: M13FG1150T has an 11.50" pattern and it is typically used by infielders. However, if you are comfortable using a slightly smaller glove, then it will work for the outfield as well.
Jason
