This glove's ergonomic design leverages the bio-mechanics of the hand which makes for a natural movement. Hyperlite construction is built to increase hand speed and also lowers centrifugal force which reduces the chance of injury. This glove is pitcher specific, and the Split Solid Web hides the ball and forms a great pocket. The Syntec Hide weighs less than half the weight of leather while still maintaining the same durability. The MAKO uses Pro Steer Hide High-quality leather with a quick break-in and tremendous durability paired with USA-Tanned Rawhide Pro grade lace with a tensile strength of 100 lbs. to prevent any blowouts. What is the difference between the EMK1200 & EMK1200LE? Tom

The Easton MAKO Pro Series Pitchers Glove (EMK1200) features a 12.00 inch pattern as well as a Pro Steer Hide construction. The Easton MAKO Series Pitchers Glove (EMK1200LE) features a 12.00 inch pattern as well as a Japanese Seto Leather construction. The gloves will have two different leather constructions as well as a different cosmetic look. The Seto Leather is a much higher grade of leather which accounts for the large price variation between the two.

Can this glove be used by a 13 yr with a large hand for pitching, 3rd and OF q

The Easton MAKO Pro Series Pitchers Glove (EMK1200) is better suited for the OF/P as it is a 12 inch pattern but you could certainly use it at 3B as well if your hand is large. A better option could possibly be the 2016 Easton Core Pro Series Baseball Glove (ECG1201MT) as it is an 11.75 inch pattern.
