My son will be playing 12u travel ball in the spring and he Is 5' 2" right now. Would this glove be a good choice for him? soxfreak
You might want to go down to at least a 33" Catchers mitt, because if he is only 12 the Easton Alpha Series: APB2 Catcher's Mitt will be too big.
Noah
Will this work for fastpitch softball? b
The Easton Alpha Series: APB2 Catcher's Mitt is a baseball glove. The pocket on the glove will be made for receiving baseballs, and therefore not large enough to handle softballs.
Justin R.
Is this glove the right choice for a 15 year old high school catcher? Brandon
The Easton Alpha Series (APB2) would be a great option if the player likes a bigger pocket for their catchers mitt. If they prefer a smaller pocket, the 34 inch design may be too big. The preference can vary from catcher to catcher. Big pocket size means bigger target but tougher transition to the throwing hand.
