Description

Akadema is the most exciting baseball and softball company in the world. Akadema's ownership attributes an increasing market share to their innovative quality professional product line in contrast to mass-produced products that have little to do with quality, feel, or design that raise the level of play. Akadema's products are manufactured for professional players but are available for semi pro, college, high school and serious youth players. Akadema's latest glove series is the Akadema Precision Series. The Precision Series uses Precision Kip Leather that is 20% lighter and tighter grained than steer hide. The hides are harvested in Europe and tanned in Japan. Ultimately, the Precision Series design provides the player with a more pliable glove. This allows for easier break in. The Precision Kip Leather also provides more tensile strength than competing glove lines. This results in a stronger, more durable glove. The Pro

Pros: This is the best glove i have ever played with! I used to play with a glove that cost 3 times as much and that glove is terrible compared to this masterpeice! If you want (NEED)a glove that will last you a long time and always be great then get this glove!

Cons: NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: I own a rawlings HOH, an a2000, and have previously owned a couple nikes (don't go there), a couple glovesmiths and cheaper gloves not worth mentioning. I highly doubt someone could be disappointed in this glove. Its very strong stiff leather took some time to break in but obviously means it will last longer and retain its break in shape longer because of this. It has more padding in the palm than any other glove I've used even out of this price range. I like the feel of my Rawlings HOH slightly more but the pocket wore out in less than one season while this is still going strong after comparable use. That and it cost about $50 less than the Rawlings. I use this glove when playing third and it's the perfect size. Try one out and save some bucks on a great professional glove. That is if the popularity in a bigger brand name isn't important to you

Cons: It's not the lightest glove I've used (look at the a2000's if a light glove is important to you) but I wouldn't call it heavy either

Pros: I've bought a HOH, A2K,Easton Premier and Mizuno Pro Limited just trying to find the perfect glove. Akadema's ASB104 is it. It's light, rugged, perfectly shaped and has the perfect feel.

No Joke!

Pros: Wow! Great quality glove. Definetly built to last and take some punishment. The webbing is nice and secure. Make sure u take the time to break it in properly(stiff quality leather). This is as good as it gets! Cant beat this one!

Cons: The only cons are Nokona and A2K's that cost more than this beauty

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Akadema Precision Series: ASB104? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Is this glove a 12 in, or 11.75? Because all other sites have it as a 11.75 Sam
Thanks for catching that for us! It is actually a 11.75 inch model, but we mistakenly had it listed as 12 inch. It should be updated now. Thanks again!
Jon
Does this glove run true to the 11.75" size? I have 2 Mizuno 12.75" gloves and they are noticeably different Chaz
Yes, this glove and this series run very close to the advertised size that the glove comes in. Most Akadema gloves run true to there size that is listed.
Brett

Depending on the age and size of the player, it might be a little small. Avg sizes used for outfield is between 12inch -12.75inch

My son is not quite 12 yrs of age and a little on the small size fot that group. He is typically a shortstop using a 11.5" glove but plays outfield when the other team is smashing the ball. Would the Akadema Precision Series: ASB104 be a good outfielders mit for him ?? old guy
With him being on the smallish side, the 11.75" glove should be just right for him in the outfield.
Linda
Would this glove be a excellent performer for third base? I am 13, and I was wondering if this glove would be good for third base? Allllll
The Akadema Precision Series (ASB104) features an 11.75" pattern and is great for a 13 year old third baseman.
Jason
It looks like it has a small hand opening and how comfortable is this glove Mike
The Akadema Precision Series (ASB104) does have a slightly more narrow hand and wrist opening, however an average sized high school male should have no issues getting their hand to fit. It is more game friendly than most other models at that price, and will not require an extensive break in period.
