Description
Akadema is the most exciting baseball and softball company in the world. Akadema's ownership attributes an increasing market share to their innovative quality professional product line in contrast to mass-produced products that have little to do with quality, feel, or design that raise the level of play. Akadema's products are manufactured for professional players, but are available for semi pro, college, high school and serious youth players. Akadema's latest glove series is the Akadema Precision Series. The Precision Series uses Precision Kip Leather that is 20% lighter and tighter grained than steerhide. The hides are harvested in Europe and tanned in Japan. Ultimately, the Precision Series design provides the player with a more pliable glove. This allows for easier break-in. The Precision Kip Leather also provides more tensile strength than competing glove lines. This results in a stronger, more durable glove. Akadema: Bring Your "A" Game! Free Shipping!

Pros: This glove is extremely light, has a great pocket and is very easy to break in. It was my first kip leather glove and I am very impressed. I use it for middle infield of a softball team but would be great for a baseball outfielder.
Cons: May become a bit flimly sooner than other gloves due to the thinner, lighter-weight kip leather.

Cons: thin padding

Pros: i wrote a review when i got the glove, since using it , i was compelled to write another. 20 years of baseball& softball plus, every kind of glove, & all top of the line models, the akadema arz136 is by a long shot, the best i've ever used. it took 2 day's to get this glove game ready. the fit, the quality, the attention to detail, is awesome. it's perfect for baseball, & softball. i just ordered a custom all red model for a backup if ever needed. same as the arz136. in my opinon, this is the best glove mfg to date. the leather is far superior to anything i've ever used. it also does'nt retain moisture in humid weather like other leathers do. if your looking for a fantastic product, this is it.
Cons: none at all

Pros: Best glove I've ever owned, very easy to break in, great pocket. More of a baseball outfielder's glove, but I play a lot of third base in softball and think it works very well. I have played with this glove for a season and a half, minimum 6 games per week and has lasted, hopefully will last a few more seasons.
Cons: No padding what so ever, most money I have ever spent on a glove.

Glove guru
Pros: I have used everything from pro preferred to A2000 and this is one of the best outfield gloves on the market. I was absolutely gutted when i got it how i couldn't even fit my fingers in the glove but after some patience and mashing it has shaped beautifully and i love it!
Cons: Very small when you first get it.

Pros: 35 years of competitive ball playing as well as 10+ yrs coaching all levels- high school. I've had and seen most all gloves , including A2000, A2K, Rawlings Pro models etc. Wanted a quality glove for a new tournament team that started up In Florida half century softball league. Took a chance on this glove since it was made from Kip leather and I liked other brands made from the same. I can't express my satisfaction. For literally less than HALF the price of the big names it is every bit as good and quite possibly better. I am 51 years old and I want a glove that is extremely stiff out of the wrapper. This Akadema nailed it. I like to break a glove in slowly, the tried and true way, so it forms to your hand and style of play. It compares to the A2K but feels better and costs way less. If you are looking for a top quality glove that you can be confident with and proud of , pull the trigger and buy this before they decide to raise their prices .

Pros: I don't think I could be any happier with this glove. I like to break my glove in naturally (just catch and throw without any treatments)so it takes a little longer than most, but this one works out excellently. Once it gets to a game ready condition, putting this glove on just feels right. Didn't take long to feel completely confident in it at both infield and outfield positions. Akadema has my business going forward.
Cons: At a month in, I have no complaints at all.
