The Adidas EQT IX2 First Base Mitt: FLX is a 12.50 inch pattern. For someone that is 11-13 years of age a 12.00-12.25 inch pattern may be a better fit but it is really one of personal preference on how it feels on the player's hand.

This Adidas EQT IX2 First Base Mitt (FLX) will come with a decently soft feel to start out, but in order to get the glove absolutely game ready, I would recommend allowing for a few weeks of break-in.
