Description
Wilson A2K gloves are the premier patterns that last longer and look better due to the master craftsmanship of glove guru Shigeaki Aso. As the most highly regarded and premium baseball gloves in the business, the A2K models offer both consistency and flawlessness for many seasons. Each glove is beautifully crafted out of the elite Pro Stock Select Leather which is chosen through a detailed sorting process where only the top 5% of Wilson hides are utilized. On the back of the finger stalls, Wilson continues to utilize their reliable rolled dual welting technique that strategically places thin strips of rolled leather which help provide more stability and a better overall pocket formation. Another great feature of the Wilson A2K is the Double Palm Construction. A thinly cut piece of leather is placed between the palm liner and the outer shell to deliver maximum pocket stability and additional protection on defense. Wilson and their master glove technicians also spend up to three times longer pounding and shaping the A2K gloves by hand so that you're guaranteed a glove the breaks in quicker without breaking down. Time and passion are put into every single baseball glove, whether it's made for play on an MLB field or your local sandlot diamond. It's no surprise that Major League Baseball players choose to wear Wilson to get them through a 162 game season year after year. That should be all the proof you need that the A2K series is created with unparalleled craftsmanship. Wilson: Peerless In Performance!
This 1799 Wilson A2K Baseball Glove (WTA2KRB181799) features a large 12.75-inch pattern, a reinforced dual post web (also known as an H-web), and a copper with blonde colorway. Due to the construction of the 1799 pattern, this model is the preferred choice of many MLB outfielders because of the incredible length and deep pocket. Step up your game in the outfield and order one of these A2K baseball gloves today with free shipping. Also, consider adding Glove Assurance for $30 more at the checkout. And don't forget, we'll be here for you from click to catch!

Best outfield glove out there

Pros: This may be pretty pricy but it pays off the leather is legit, super durable, cool color way and can pretty much catch any flyball that comes your way. It comes super stiff but I was able to brake this in (it only took me one day). Overall this glove is slick and great for any outfielder.
Cons: Honestly none

Is this glove too big for a 13 year old outfielder? I was thinking of getting him the Todd Frazier 12.25; not sure what is best, any help would be much appreciated.
Pete
The 2018 Wilson A2K 12.75" Baseball Glove: WTA2KRB181799 is most likely too big for a 13 year old OF but this size, 12.75, would be ideal for the OF as the player gets older. If the player feels comfortable with the larger size then we would recommend getting this glove as it would last the player far longer then going with something in a smaller size.

Is it worth the price and what makes it so much better?
Jake
When it comes to the price of gloves, it's all about the quality of the leather that is used. The Wilson A2K line is made out of some of the best leather Wilson offers. Only the top 5% of the leather used for the A2000 gloves is used for the A2K models. Better leather equals a longer lasting glove that will hold its shape and be more durable over its lifetime.

What is the difference in webbing compared to the 2018 Wilson A2000 12.75" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB181799? They seem similar but the A2000 has two laces on the back of the webbing and the A2K has one. Just wondering why.
Matt
The Wilson A2K 12.75" Baseball Glove: WTA2KRB181799 features a reinforced dual post web (similar to an H-Web) which is the same web design on the Wilson A2000 12.75" Baseball Glove: WTA20RB181799; the A2000 is not reinforced which is the only difference.

About the Brand
A true American icon in the world of sports equipment. This Chicago-based manufacturer of quality gloves began in 1913 as Ashland Manufacturing, which was a subsidiary of the Wilson & Co. meat company. At one point, the enterprise became known as the Thomas E. Wilson Co., taking the name of an early chief executive. In 1931, the name was changed to Wilson Sporting Goods Co.
Wilson makes a variety of baseball gloves and equipment for several different positions, uncluding bats and batting gloves. They are best known for models that include the A2K and A2000, as well as custom gloves. Players such as Clayton Kershaw and Miguel Cabrera have sported Wilson baseball gloves.

Yes, JustGloves.com will price match a competitor's listed price!
To do so, we verify some information. If you see an item listed at a lower price elsewhere, this is all we require:
We must verify that the website you want to price match is legitimate and an authorized dealer of the products they sell.
We must confirm that the competitor has the same size and product in stock and ready to ship. If the same size and product is out of stock on the competitor's website, we are unable to match their price.
We must confirm if the competitor charges sales tax and/or shipping fees since these are added to the final price of the product.
Lastly, our Glove Experts must check on the cost we pay to stock the item from the manufacturer. The price match must cover that manufacturer cost for the item.
We have the final decision for matching an online price.
Did you purchase a product from us, but noticed that it is now at a lower price? Please let us know, and we will honor our lowest price within the past 30 days by issuing a refund for the price difference or adjusting the price for you over the phone.

JustGloves Trusted Glove Prep Service
$34.95
We Prep - You Break In - Then Break Out
You spoke and we listened. Introducing JustGloves Trusted Glove Prep! Now, you can choose for us to soften your new glove for a quicker break-in process. We will not be fully breaking in the glove, but instead using a series of mindful actions specifically geared to your exact glove. As a result, the leather will arrive more supple and allow for a much easier break-in process upon arrival.
The Process
Steam
With care, your glove is placed into a manufacturer-approved steaming chamber and monitored closely. Through the combination of heat and steam, the leather softens.
Condition
Our team of Glove Experts then applies a thin layer of specialized glove conditioner to the outside of your glove. As the moisture evaporates from the leather of the glove, the conditioner is absorbed and helps moisturize the leather fibers and prevent them from drying out.
Glove Break-In Machine
The final step in our glove prepping process takes advantage of our certified glove softening machine. The machine pounds the glove right on the key break points and should help make the glove arrive soft for you so that you can complete the break in!
