Description

Wilson is the official glove of the MLB!

Wilson A2K gloves are the premier patterns that last longer and look better due to the master craftsmanship of glove guru Shigeaki Aso. As the most highly regarded and premium baseball gloves in the business, the A2K models offer both consistency and flawlessness for many seasons. Each glove is beautifully crafted out of the elite Pro Stock Select Leather which is chosen through a detailed sorting process where only the top 5% of Wilson hides are utilized. On the back of the finger stalls, Wilson continues to utilize their reliable rolled dual welting technique that strategically places thin strips of rolled leather which help provide more stability and a better overall pocket formation. Another great feature of the Wilson A2K is the Double Palm Construction. A thinly cut piece of leather is placed between the palm liner and the outer shell to deliver maximum pocket stability and additional protection on defense. Wilson and their master glove technicians also spend up to three times longer pounding and shaping the A2K gloves by hand so that you're guaranteed a glove the breaks in quicker without breaking down. Time and passion are put into every single baseball glove, whether it's made for play on an MLB field or your local sandlot diamond. It's no surprise that Major League Baseball players choose to wear Wilson to get them through a 162 game season year after year. That should be all the proof you need that the A2K series is created with unparalleled craftsmanship. Wilson: Peerless In Performance!

This 1787 Wilson A2K Baseball Glove (WTA2KRB181787) features a popular 11.75-inch pattern, an I-web (Wilson H-web) with double X laces for more stability, and a conventional open back with copper and blonde cosmetics. Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Wilson A2K 11.75" Baseball Glove: WTA2KRB181787? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

(1) How much longer would this mitt take to break in when compared to the A2000 version of this glove? (2) Also which glove is more durable? Baller27
(1) Due to the higher quality leather, I think this 2018 Wilson A2K 11.75" Baseball Glove (WTA2KRB181787) will take a longer break-in period when compared to an A2000 mitt [I would not be able to give an exact amount of time on how much longer the break-in will be on this A2K]. (2) Since this A2K mitt feature higher quality Pro Stock Select leather, the potential for longevity will be greater on this A2K if the glove is care for properly.

I play third base and I want to know if I should get an 11.75-inch glove or an 11.5-inch glove. Lewis Grunske
At 3B a player could essentially use either 11.50 or 11.75 inch gloves, it all comes down to personal preference. The 2018 Wilson A2K 11.75" Baseball Glove: WTA2KRB181787 would certainly make a great choice for a 3B.

My son plays SS and 3rd. I"ve heard the A2K runs small in size. Would you suggest the 11.5" or 11.75"? Coach J
I haven't seen that A2K mitts specifically run smaller in comparison to other lines of gloves. However, if you were worried about the glove being a little small, I would recommend this 2018 Wilson A2K 11.75" Baseball Glove (WTA2KRB181787) as you should be safe with the extra .25" length on the mitt in comparison to an 11.5" mitt.
