Cons: leather quality is definitely a hit or miss. i bought this glove and it felt really thin, then my teammate bought the same glove and its a lot thicker and just overall feels better. recommend you buy in store so you choose which one you want

My son is trying to decide between this glove and the JJ Hardy Pro Preferred. He is a big 10 year old and plays travel ball year-round. (1) Would this be good for him as a 3rd baseman? (2) How do the gloves compare? Wied

(1) This 2017 Wilson A2K 11.5" Baseball Glove (A2KRB171786) will feature an 11.5" length to it which should fine for a 10 year old 3B (the length could be a little large starting out, but will be fine as he grows). As well, it will feature stiff leather and a fitting for an adult male hand (it may take a little bit of time for your player to break in the glove and grow into the fit the glove). (2) In regard to leather quality, length and fitting; this A2K and the JJ Hardy Pro Preferred will be very similar (JJ Hardy mitt may be a little less stiff, but will be pretty comparable to this A2K).
