Reliable Glove to any Glove Enthusiast Will Glover Player

Pros: - Fits great on normal-sized hands (I am 5'10" for reference) - Sounds Amazing (yes, the sound is a huge feature) - Great Leather - Durable - Color is great too!

Cons: - Like all high-quality gloves, requires some time to break in... ( Would buy one in winter months to give some time) - Precision glove, if you aren't an experienced catcher, you will hurt yourself very often. (Web is a bit small for new catchers) (I am an experienced catcher and have dislocated my thumb catching the ball at a bad angle (both user error and size of the glove (it is a precision glove)))

What is different about this glove as opposed to Wilson's past catchers mitts? Ty
The leather quality, design of the glove and craftsmanship on this 2017 Wilson A2000 33" Catcher's Mitt (A20RB17CM33) will be very similar to past A2000 catcher's mitts. However, the new Blonde and Red colorway on this mitt will be new for 2017.
Ben
How is this glove for a 9U player? FRANK
This 2017 Wilson A2000 33" Catcher's Mitt (A20RB17CM33) will feature a 33.00" circumference and a fitting for an adult hand. For a player at 9 years old, I would make a suggestion of getting a mitt with a 31" - 32" circumference and a youth fitting. A suggestion I would make for you is the 2017 Rawlings Gamer Youth Pro Taper 32" Catcher's Mitt (GCM32PTB).

For a catcher that wants to keep a glove for at least 2 years of varsity and summer baseball, catching high velocity pitchers, which would be better this glove or the 2017 Wilson A2000 Super Skin 33.5" Catcher's Mitt: A20RB17M1SS? Billy
Both the 2017 Wilson A2000 33" Catcher's Mitt: A20RB17CM33 and the 2017 Wilson A2000 Super Skin 33.5" Catcher's Mitt: A20RB17M1SS are great mitts to consider for a high school and college catcher. These two mitts are slightly different in size and the SuperSkin feature on the 33.5 inch will give the glove a slightly lighter feel to it as well as making the mitt more moisture resistant and tougher than the traditional leather mitt. In the end, it will come down to one's personal preference.
Cameron
Would this mitt be appropriate for a 12 year old catcher (5'2")? He is currently using an Akadema Praying Mantis. CatchingDad
The 2017 Wilson A2000 33" Catcher's Mitt: A20RB17CM33 is a great catcher's mitt to consider and will require some patience to get the mitt broken in properly. For a 12 year old it may take a few weeks to even close to a month for the mitt to be "game ready." With that said, the size to get really comes down to what feels best to the player but the 33.00 inch pattern of this mitt would be a great size.
Cameron
How does the quality of this glove compare to an A2000 Superskin? spencer
This 2017 Wilson A2000 33" Catcher's Mitt (A20RB17CM33) will be a great mitt for a player looking to get a mitt with high quality leather and a 33" circumference. The advantage that a mitt with SuperSkin will present is that the overall weight on the glove may be a little less, the break-in will be shorter and some people even think that the durability can be longer on SuperSkin mitts.
Ben
How easily can this glove be broken in? Also does it have a good pocket the deadens the ball on impact to keep it in the glove tight. The Athlete
The 2017 Wilson A2000 33" Catcher's Mitt: A20RB17CM33 is going to come pretty stiff, but the break in is not hard. The high quality leather will keep the form of the glove for a longer period of time.
Logan
How does this glove compare in thumb protection compared to the Pro Preferred Rawlings and All Star Pro Elite? Kola
The 2017 Wilson A2000 33" Catcher's Mitt: A20RB17CM33 will stack up favorably with regards to thumb protection in comparison to a Pro Preferred or Pro Elite model. A model you may want to consider if thumb protection is important is the 2018 Wilson A2000 SuperSkin 33.5" Catcher's Mitt: WTA20RB18M2SS. This mitt features more thumb protection that other A2000 models.
Cameron
Would this mitt fit too loosely on a 14 year old? Ixia
The 2017 Wilson A2000 33" Catcher's Mitt: A20RB17CM33 is an adult mitt and should be okay for a 14 year old as long as they have large enough hands. We have a 100 day guarantee on all of our gloves so that you can try it out for 100 days and return it for a full refund or exchange at any time within that period.
