Since its introduction in 1957, the Wilson A2000 has set the standard for premium ball gloves. With over 55 years of game changing performance, the A2000 only continues to get better and is still one of the most popular glove choices among baseball's top athletes. The A2000 is made from American Pro Stock Steerhide Leather that is hand selected for its rugged durability. Inside the glove, you've got an extremely comfortably Dri-Lex Wrist Lining. Dri-Lex Technology is an ultra-breathable material that transfers moisture away from the skin, keeping your hand cool and dry. Each A2000 model also features patented Dual-Welting that creates a pre-curved finger design to help maintain the most stable and durable pocket possible. With this particular glove, Wilson has replaced some of the leather on the back of the shell with their proprietary SuperSkin material. SuperSkin further reduces the gloves break-in time, repels moisture and dirt, and is actually 2X stronger and lighter than leather - giving you complete control in the field. Unmatched in their feel and performance, all A2000 patterns are endlessly field tested and constantly improved by the hundreds the professionals and top amateur players that choose only Wilson Ball Gloves.

Is this a maroon/brick red color? nick
Yes, the red coloring featured on this 2016 Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A20RB161786SS) will be darker (a maroon or brick style) when compared to a bright or scarlet red coloring.
Ben
How used is used? Can pictures be sent? jerry
We do not take pictures of the used gloves because, in general, pictures do not really illustrate the use of the glove. Typically the level of use of a glove is more about feel rather than visible wear. Typically, if we have a used model of nice gloves like the 2016 Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A20RB161786SS) it does not last long enough on the site for pictures to be taken.
Patrick
Would this glove be suitable for a youth, 11 yrs old; who plays good travel baseball? He plays infield as well as pitches, and wants the A2000. Is he better suited for a youth-sized glove or will this one work for him? Dave
The 2016 Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series: A20RB161786SS is a great glove but could be a little big on an 11 year old (wrist opening and finger stalls). I would suggest looking into a Dustin Pedroia A2000 model as these glove will feature a smaller wrist opening and tighter finger stalls. Those options would be the 2016 Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series: A20RB16DP15SS or the Wilson A2000 Baseball Glove: A20RB15DP15GM.

I am looking into getting a white customized Wilson A2000, and I'm curious if there are any ways to keep it clean and looking like new. Can you give me tips on how to keep it clean, and are there any solutions that repel dirt and water that can help with that? Jose Ruiz
There is no real way to keep a glove that is white or any other light colored leather free from dirt, etc. As for repelling some of this dirt, water, etc. you may find it beneficial to get a glove with SuperSkin; reduces excess weight, repels moisture, 2X stronger than leather.
Cameron

I am a 12 year old boy who plays travel baseball year round. I play second and third base. (1) Should I get an A2000 or an A2K? As well, what model should I get? (2) Is there a way to buy a glove so that you can break it in more than the factory? (3) Do gloves without SuperSkin tend to have softer, thicker and more comfy leather? LeoCubs11
(1) For you, I think that this 11.5" model of the 2016 Wilson A2000 SuperSkin Series (A20RB161786SS) should be a fine model to use between 2nd and 3rd base. (2) A2000 models will come with a break-in that is mostly left to the player and you would be able to mold it to your hand exclusively. (3) On the backing of a glove without SuperSkin, you will have a traditional leather backing that will be thicker. Some players do find the traditional leather backing to more comfortable to wear.
