2016 Nokona Banana Tan Fastpitch Series: BTF-1250
Average Customer Review
I am in love with this glove. It is fantastic! Out of the box, I put some glove conditioner on it, when and had a catch and it was great. After throwing only 2 or 3 times the glove is practically broken in. The pocket is great. Awesome for higher level players looking for a nice glove. It is lightweight and conforms to your hand super easily. I would defiantly recommend this glove for anyone looking for a great, easy to break in glove.
Purchased this glove for my 12 year old daughter. I had purchased an A2000, but the leather was just too heavy for her. The goal is to be able to use this glove for a while (maybe restring along the way) The glove required very little break in time. We immediately just started throwing. I did rubber band the glove with a 12in ball inside daily. The glove required no steam, oil, etc. This glove is is really good for all positions. The web is deep, but not too deep that when playing the infield it does not allow for a quick release. On the reverse, it provides enough depth when playing the outfield. We are very pleased with this glove.
I would have liked to see a little more length on the wrist strap.

What size and brand glove is best for a 2nd baseman, my daughter is 5-10.
Height does not have anything to do with what size glove a player might use, but for an average fast pitch 2nd basemen I would recommend a glove between 11.75"-12". I would check out the 2016 Nokona Buckaroo Black Fastpitch Series (BS1200CBLK).
Is there very much padding in palm of the glove?
The 2016 Nokona Banana Tan Fastpitch Series: BTF-1250 is made with the Nolera Composite Padding System. This gives it a Lighter Feel than Traditional Felt with Similar Absorption and will offer a good amount of padding in a light feel.
Trying to decide between this glove and the Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch Series: BCF1250C. Daughter is a 15 year old outfielder/some 3rd base. They look pretty similar and trying to come up with any advantages/disadvantages.
The 2016 Nokona Banana Tan Fastpitch Series: BTF-1250 and the Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch Series: BCF1250C are both 12.50 inch patterns making them great options for a player who plays OF/3B. The 2016 Nokona Banana Tan Fastpitch Series: BTF-1250 will have slightly more padding while the Nokona Buffalo Combo Fastpitch Series: BCF1250C will have a weigh slightly less due to the use of Bison leather.
