Pros: Kip leather is amazingly soft and supple; glove is lighter weight than other quality gloves on the market; and great for middle infield positions. Color preference: two-tone grey and black.

Cons: Expensive but excellent quality

College second basemen

Pros: I have been playing baseball for a very long time I have had every top model glove you can imagine. This wilson is probably my favorite. Great leather!

Cons: I am a pretty big second basemen with good size hands, so this glove was pretty tight on my hand for a while. Most of your smaller infielders won't have that problem.

Pros: I love the overall feel and it has amazing leather. It breaks in pretty fast if you take your time with it. I would recommend this glove to anyone who loves gloves and is a serious baseball player.

Cons: It comes really small. It plays smaller than a dp15 and like a 11.25. The laces are also thin but other than that I would recommend the glove.

Could have been better. Captain Jack player

Pros: Great overall fit. The glove fits snug to your hand and has great feel. THE MOST COMFORTABLE GLOVE ON THE MARKET. I was originally under the impression that the double palm construction and thicker heel pad would sacrifice some feel but I was mistaken. The 1786 breaks in especially quick if you use Aso's hot water method. With that I was able to form a shallow pocket and curve the thumb and pinky to my liking with the slightest ease. Overall great piece of equipment, ideal for a mid-infielder.

Cons: The lace quality was sub par, had to re-lace with tanners. The palm had an irritating wrinkle in the pocket when when I recieved the glove in the mail. If I pay full retail price for "the most premium glove Wilson offers" I think the minute details of the glove should be flawless.

What is difference between A1K and A2K? My daughter plays shortstop on a high level travel team while being recruited. A baseball glove has been recommended. Pat
The 2015 Wilson A2K Series (A2KRB151786) is Wilson's top of the line adult glove. It is made out of the top 5% of Pro Stock Leather, and will require a fairly long break-in time. The Wilson A1K is is designed for youth and intermediate players. It has smaller finger stalls and wrist openings and would fit a females hand better. The A1K will not require as long of a break-in period.

What are the differences between the A2KRB151786 and A2KRB15DP15GM? One thing that is not clear from the pictures is whether the 1786 has double stitching on the pocket. Thanks! JC
The 2015 Wilson A2K Series (A2KRB151786) and the (A2KRB15DP15GM) will feature the same type of leather and performance. The stitching and the webs are also the same. The biggest difference other than the color, will be that the DP15GM will fit tighter on the player's wrist and fingers.

Does this glove come really small as it says in the review above? About how long is the break-in process? trent
The 2015 Wilson A2K Series (A2KRB151786) runs true to its 11.50" pattern. It has a bigger hand fit compared to a DP15 model, but every players hand size varies and it could have a smaller feel for you. We do offer the 100 day guarantee on all of our gloves including the A2KRB151786.

Should you use a glove steamer at Dick's on this A2K glove? Anonymous
We do not recommend using any time of steam or heat to break in the 2015 Wilson A2K Series (A2KRB151786) or any other glove. The best way to break in a glove is to use specially designed glove oil. Glove oil keeps the leather 'alive' while providing a softening condition and minimizing weight gain.
